Last week, we spent Sunday through Wednesday at a resort near Brainard, MN with Eicher family. We rented a huge lodge that accomadated 12 adults and 11 kids (ages 1 to 17). Dan's brother Noel and family came from San Diego, his sister Vicki and family came from Omaha, and his Aunt Janis and Uncle Tom came from Waterloo--it was so good to visit and catch up with everyone! We were blessed with PERFECT weather. Highlights of the week included: lots of beach time, volleyball, tennis, fishing, golfing, bonfires, and really good food!
Sadie had fun playing with all of her cousins, especially her cousin Ryan who is 4 weeks younger than her. They liked playing in the water, with the sand toys, with the walk-behind bus, and with whatever they could get their hands on.
On Tuesday, we celebrated Ryan's birthday and Sadie got her first taste of DQ frozen birthday cake. Needless to say, she loved it! I could barely feed her fast enough.

Looks like fun, Steph. Although I don't know how any of you got any sleep with that many kids in the same lodge!
What in impressive looking family. Brave woman living together for a few days, looks like a great summer getaway.
